❗ Why We Don’t Follow RICS Levels
RICS reports are structured for consistency, not always clarity. We don’t use their Level 2/3 format because:
It doesn’t suit older or non-standard buildings
It avoids giving costs for repairs
It can be confusing for buyers unfamiliar with technical terms
Our reports are straight-talking, costed, and visual — designed to give you the clarity and confidence to move forward.
🌫️ How We Assess Damp
We don’t rely on old-fashioned damp meters, which can give false positives and are often misused.
Instead, we use a thermal imaging camera to detect patterns of moisture, cold bridging, and condensation risks without invasive testing or guesswork.
This gives a clearer picture of where damp problems are forming and what might be causing them, whether that’s poor ventilation, defective pointing, or trapped moisture in solid walls.
